Abstracts based on original, not previously published findings are welcome for submission. Abstracts based on previously published information will also be accepted. The conference organizers are exploring the possibility of publishing the conference abstracts in a journal supplement. In addition, the organizers are considering publication of invited papers based on original, unpublished findings. More details on these options will be provided as soon as they are available.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the website no later than May 8, 2009 May 22, 2009. An e-mail confirming receipt will be sent to the submitter. Abstracts will be reproduced as submitted.
We will notify all abstract submitters whether the abstract is accepted or rejected by June 26, 2009. We will not accept every abstract for presentation. If the abstract is accepted, the submitter will receive a request to confirm the availability to attend the conference and make the presentation by July 10, 2009. Submitters are responsible for responding to all notices sent by teamPSA on behalf of the abstract.
Presenters are responsible for all expenses related to participating in the conference including transportation, registration, lodging, and meals.
Support may be available from CDC/ATSDR to cover certain conference expenses. For more information, please email nephc2009@cdc.gov.
