Cancer Pharmacogenomics: Setting a Research Agenda to Accelerate Translation
Sponsored by the Trans-NCI Pharmacogenomics and Pharmacoepidemiology Working Group
and the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences, NCI
July 21, 2009 Natcher Auditorium
National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD
|
Purpose:
|
This workshop is intended to bring together experts from various disciplines to review recommendations of the Trans-NCI Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacogenomics Working Group (PPWG) to develop a comprehensive and integrated scientific agenda in order to accelerate the translation of cancer pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacogenomics research from discovery to application. The goal of this workshop is to identify infrastructures, resources, and pressing clinical issues, as well as current limitations that need to be addressed to advance cancer pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacogenomics research.
