| Sleeping Rooms: |
A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Atlanta Hilton for this conference of $119.00 (single/double) per night, plus tax. To receive the special conference rate, you must call the hotel and reserve a room in the "CDC Diabetes Translation Conference" block by Friday, April 6, 2007. After this date, the hotel will offer sleeping rooms on a space and rate-available basis, only.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION: The Hilton Atlanta hotel requires that if you must cancel your reservation, you will need to do so 48 hours prior to avoid being charged a no-show fee.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE: In the event you wish to check-out earlier than your reserved check-out date, the hotel will add an early check-out fee to your account. If you wish to avoid an early check-out fee, please advise the Hilton Atlanta at or before check-in.

| Transportation Options: |
SHUTTLE SERVICE: Atlanta LINK Shuttle Service ($16 one-way) provides transportation from Hartsfield International Airport to the Hilton Atlanta Hotel (downtown). The shuttle runs between the airport and hotel approximately every 30 minutes.
TAXI SERVICE: Taxicabs are available outside the airport's baggage claim area and cost approximately $30.00 each way.
TRAIN: Another alternative is Atlanta's rapid rail transit system, MARTA. The station is located adjacent to the airport's baggage claim area. Take the northbound train to Peachtree Center Station and then take the escalator to Peachtree Center/Harris Street. Walk through the double doors into the Peachtree Center Food Court, cross over the "Skywalk" through another set of double doors to the Athletic Club/Courtland Garage, and take the elevators to the 2nd floor (Courtland Street).
The Hilton Atlanta Hotel is on the right. The one-way cost for MARTA is $1.75.
