HOTEL INFORMATION
The Hilton Crystal City has been selected as the host hotel for this meeting. To reserve a hotel room, please call the Hilton at 1-800-HILTONS, and refer to the NIOSH Direct Reading Workshop to secure the group rate. You may access the group rate through the online reservations system at the following link: http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/personalized/DCANAHF-OSH-20081112/index.jhtml (click here or cut/paste the following into a browser) When you use this link to book your room, the group code and rate will be automatically generated in your reservation.
A block of rooms have been reserved for November 12 - 14, 2008 at a rate of $201.00 per night, plus tax (single/double). The group rate will be available until Friday, October 24, 2008, or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please ensure that you do so by 6:00 pm on your scheduled day of arrival, and that you note your cancellation number. The check-in time for the hotel is 3 p.m., and the check-out time is noon. Be sure to request a nonsmoking room if desired.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The Hilton Crystal City Hotel is approximately 1 mile from Ronald Reagan Washington airport. Listed below are three (3) transportation options.
- Hotel Shuttle Service: Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to Reagan National Airport.
- Taxi Service: Cab fare from Reagan National Airport to the Hotel is approximately $6, one-way.
- Railway: Washington D.C.'s METRO provides service from the airport to the Hilton Crystal City Hotel. The airport METRO station is located near baggage claim, and the cost is $1.65 one-way. From Ronald Reagan Airport Station, board towards Crystal City Station (yellow line). When you arrive at the station, please call the Hilton at 703.418.6800 and a shuttle will be sent to transport you to the hotel. The hotel is approximately 3 minutes away from the station.
