What time does the meeting start and end?
Pre-registration will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 and will end at noon on Thursday, August 20, 2009. See the agenda for more details.
What are the check-in and check-out times at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel?
Check-in is after 3:00 pm and Check-out is at 12:00 pm.
Upon request, extended check out times can be arranged based upon availability. If you do not request a late check out, you will need to check out before the last day of the meeting starts (8:00 am). The Concierge/Bell hop desk can hold your luggage while you attend the meeting.

Yes, you can make reservations through the hotel at 866-716-8134 or 405-235-2780. Please let the reservationists know that you are with the Direct Service Tribes meeting.

Continuing Education will not be offered.
What should I wear to the conference?
Casual attire is encouraged for the conference. The temperature is hard to regulate in the meeting rooms, therefore some people may want to bring a sweater or light jacket.
What transportation services are available when I arrive in Oklahoma City?
Taxis are located at the Transportation Plaza accessed from the baggage claim (lower) level. Rates are posted in the cabs or passengers can obtain rate information from the cab driver. Average fare from the airport to downtown is $20.00.
Public vans are on site to meet all scheduled flights and transport incoming passengers. To arrange for pickup from home, business or hotel, reservations must be made prior to departure. Information on rates and reservations can be obtained by calling each company directly. Local companies are listed to the left. The average fare from the airport to downtown is $17.00.

From Will Rogers World Airport
Travel north on Interstate 44 and exit onto Interstate 40 East. Take I-40 East and then take the Harvey Exit. Turn right onto Harvey, right on Reno, left on Robinson, and then right on Sheridan. The hotel is on the right-hand side.
From North
Take Interstate 35 South to I-40 West and exit at Robinson Avenue. Turn right onto Robinson and continue 4 blocks to Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue 1 block to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway, and the hotel is on the right-hand side.
